Kerching

Although they are a part of the renowned Barcrest group of casinos, Kerching is not quite a big hitter on the online gambling scene. However, their name still commands a level of respect from players, and as you’ll see in the following article, a fantastic array of game choice ensures that time spent playing at Kerching will not disappoint.

One of the biggest plus points for fans of Kerching, is the fact that they offer a downloadable casino client, and are one of the only casinos still to offer such a service. This appeals to some old school players and especially people who are using a slower internet connection, as it allows the games to be stored locally on your computer.

We’ll look at this in more detail a bit later on. First, let’s take a look at the games available at Kerching.

Casino Games

Kerching Casino GamesKerching Casino offers a vast range of games for players to enjoy, covering everything from video slots to casino table games and live games. All titles are available from the main navigation menu under the ‘All Games’ tab.

It’s also worth pointing out that Kerching offer an impeccable range of game developers at their site so you will have access to all of the latest titles. Just some of the software providers on offer include NetEntertainment, Microgaming, Barcrest, and Quickfire (a subsidiary of Microgaming).

From NetEntertainment you can play games such as: Relic Raiders, Aliens, South Park, Gonzo’s Quest, Scruffy Duck, Jack and the Beanstalk, South Park: Reel Chaos, Frankenstein, Wild Wild West: The Great Train Heist, Lucky Angler, Hook’s Heroes, Secret of the Stones, and many more!

If you’re more a fan of higher variance games, then Microgaming is probably your best bet, and some of the games on offer here include: Dragonz, Avalon, Emperor of the Sea, Jurassic World, Oink: Country Love, Mermaids Millions, Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck II, and Bar Bar Black Sheep: the online slot.

While their video slot selection is fantastic, Kerching’s offerings when it comes to Casino Table Games barely merit a mention, with merely a handful of Roulette and Blackjack games listed; and it’s disappointing to see a casino of Kerching’s size offering such a poor choice in this department.

Jackpots

Kerching Casino JackpotDespite playing host to so many software providers, Kerching Casino unfortunately offer a limited selection of progressive jackpot games at best, with just 12 titles to choose from.

You’ll find a few games from Blueprint Gaming – all of which use the ‘Jackpot King’ progressive jackpot function – but there is just one game from NetEntertainment which is a shame, as ‘Mega Fortune’ – the software providers most notable title – isn’t available.

Jackpot games from Blueprint Gaming include: Worms Reloaded, Top Cat, Winstar, Genie Jackpots, and Super Spinner Bar-X.

It’s definitely a shame not to find more jackpot games available, and it doesn’t really make sense either given the number of software providers at the site. Still, Kerching’s progressive jackpot range is OK, it’s just nothing to get excited about.

Live Dealers

Kerching Casino LiveKerching offer just two types of Live Dealer Games, and these are, unsurprisingly, Roulette and Blackjack. While this is again disappointing, to give Kerching their dues at least both games offer a few variations.

It’s all pretty generic though, games like European, American and French Roulette; but one title that did stand out as original was their ‘Rich Wilde’s Book of Dead’ Roulette.

This is one of the most popular video slots created from trusted software provider Play’n Go, and it’s known within the online gambling world as a high variance slot with huge potential for winning big. To see it combined with Roulette is a little unexpected, but if you’re a fan of the slot and also happen to play Roulette you’ll definitely want to check it out.

Note: Kerching don’t have a live casino tab, so you will have to search for these games directly. For example, type Roulette into the search box and you’ll see both live and non-live versions pop up.

The Website

Kerching’s website is bright, vibrant, and colourful, with a modern design putting it in stark contrast with some of the old school aesthetics we’re used to seeing at other sites.

The website is fairly well built, and while we have a few gripes which we’ll cover below, we particularly liked the joining process. In fact, signing up takes just a couple of seconds (literally), and once you’ve confirmed your email address you’ll be able to get started right away.

Where we feel the site lets itself down is the navigation menu, as annoyingly, you can’t categorise the games by software provider or even their type. Instead, you have to rely on ‘Hot’, ‘Popular’ and ‘New’ tabs. It’s not very user friendly. There is a search bar, but we’d like to see Kerching offer a better way to navigate their games from the off.

The speeds at the website come in around average. It’s not super fast – probably down to the amount of graphics embedded within each page – but it’s not slow either, and as long as your internet connection is fairly reliable, you shouldn’t encounter any issues.

It’s also worth mentioning the live casino client. While it’s hardly an application (more of a browser frame which acts as a shortcut from your desktop), it’s nice to have a sense of locality while playing, especially if you’re used to playing at downloadable casinos.

Mobile Casino

Kerching Casino MobileKerching’s mobile gaming experience is a little less impressive than some of their competitors, and that’s simply because they don’t offer any form of downloadable app.

Putting this aside, the mobile website is actually one of the better ones we’ve seen, and that’s largely thanks to the wide and varied game range. Unlike many casinos, which don’t offer much in the way of variety on their mobile platform, Kerching offer around 85% of their entire game range to enjoy through the mobile website.

While it’s really down to the software providers in terms of which games are made available to mobile players, the software providers Kerching use are mostly mobile friendly, which means that you’ll find most games available to enjoy while on the go. A shrewd move by Kerching.

The Live Dealer Games are also available to enjoy via the mobile site, but don’t get your hopes up here as the quality is lacking. The live games render OK, but they’re not great quality, and it’s pretty draining on your data allowance and battery levels too.

Still, it is possible to run live games if you want to, just try and use WIFI and don’t expect to be blown away visually.

Overall though, Kerching’s mobile casino is pretty good, and while it’s disappointing not to see a mobile app, this is something that will probably make an appearance in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled.

Loyalty Program

Kerching Casino VIPIn their own words:

“We pride ourselves in offering the best experience possible to VIP players. With access to tailored customer service, rewards and bonuses, this is the room you will want access to!”

There are a number of different perks to being a VIP at Kerching, and these include a dedicated account manager, priority customer service access, a VIP Welcome Bonus, Enhanced VIP Promotions, plus a monthly bonus and a VIP anniversary bonus which gives you free spins, cash prizes, and a re-load bonus, on the first anniversary of your joining the VIP scheme.

In order to join you’ll need to be invited by one of the VIP hostesses, and unfortunately Kerching don’t state the exact requirements needed. It’s very likely a combination of depositing and staking certain amounts of money, although as this isn’t made public you’ll never know exactly what you need to do in order be invited.

In fact, their website states: “We’ll send you an email if you meet our VIP Club qualifying requirements, alternatively if you think you should be a member you can email us at contact@vip-kerching.co.uk”

Still, non-VIP players haven’t been forgotten, and you’ll find an incredibly unique promotion called ‘Bonus Boost Thursday’ which gives a win boost of 20% on selected games up to £50.

For example, if you were playing a video slot and had a £10 win, you’d actually be credited with £12 instead of £10.

That sounds a little trivial perhaps, but over a long session it can be incredibly lucrative, and with £50 of free cash on offer it’s well worth taking up the promotion, especially if you’re planning on playing on a Thursday anyway.

Payments & Limits

Sadly, we feel the banking/cashier section is another area where Kerching could do better, and this is down to the time in which it takes withdrawals to be processed.

Once you make a withdrawal request, it will generally be in a pending state for at least 24 hours, with 48 hours cited as the maximum amount of time it can take.

This seems an exceptionally long time given the advances in banking technology we’ve seen over recent years, and 48 hours just for a withdrawal to be processed is way too slow we feel; and it appears many players agree, as this is one of the most common gripes players have when reviewing them online.

Still, putting this aside, Kerching do offer generous withdrawal limits of £10,000 per day, and this should be more than enough to meet the requirements of the vast majority of players. If you’re a VIP, you’ll see that this withdrawal limit can increase to as much as £100,000 per day, although this is subject to you becoming a VIP in the first place, of course.

Payment methods available at Kerching include most major Credit/Debit Cards, alongside a few EWallets. There around 7 or 8 payment options available, dependant on whether you’re depositing or withdrawing.

History & About

Kerching Casino LogoKerching is a brand owned by Nektan (Gibraltar) Limited, who are one of the largest gambling operators on the planet, with an empire of over 20 different online casinos.

Kerching is actually one of the oldest casinos around, and it’s currently celebrating its 10th anniversary as it was first founded in 2007.

Despite not offering the best selection of games elsewhere, Kerching do offer a stellar range of video slots, and by hosting titles from a number of software providers they give their players a huge amount of choice in this area at least. Keep an eye out for new releases from the casino as they are adding to their games list all the time.

As their player base continues to increase it’s likely we’ll see big changes for the better at the casino in the coming years, only furthering your experience at the site.
